Eric DeBergh,
Director

Fortunate
to grow up in New York state 45 minutes from the Gunks, Eric's
first exposure to rock climbing came early. His passion
for climbing grew in high school, and solidified in college when
he semi-consciously chose the
career path of mountain
guide
over math
teacher. Eric has been climbing across the US and internationally
for the past 14 years, and has 10 years of professional experience as
an climbing instructor and guide on rock, indoor walls, ice, and
mountaineering in classic climbing destinations from New Hampshire to
Washington
state.
He is
an AMGA Certified Rock Instructor, Program Director of the SPI and CWI
programs, completed the Alpine Guides Course, is a Leave No Trace
Trainer,
and maintains WFR certification and a NYSDEC rock
and ice guide license.
Eric
started Certified Climbing Instructor to help climbing programs and
independent instructors to improve their services and make a viable
living

Matt Mieczkowski, Trainer

Matt
grew up in Steeltown Pennsylvania, began climbing in college, and is
currently the Head Guide for Sylvan
Rocks in the Black Hills of
South Dakota and
Devils
Tower, Wyoming. He also guides for Exum Mountain Guides in Grand
Teton National Park.
He is
an AMGA Certified Rock Guide, Director
of the SPI program, completed
the Alpine Guides Course, and maintains WEMT certification.

Matt
Erperlding, Trainer

Matt
is an experienced outdoor educator, currently a co-owner of Experiental Adventures,
guide for the American Alpine Institute in Washington state,
Coordinator of the Boise State University Outdoor Program, and
instructor for the and
instructs WFR programs
through the Wilderness Medical
Training Center.
He
is
a Director of the AMGA CWI programs, completed the Advanced Rock Guides
Course and Alpine Guides Course, LNT Master
Educator, WFR instructor, and maintains WEMT certification.
Craig Luebben, Honorary Trainer
The
climbing world will never be the same after Craig's untimely death.
He will be dearly missed. Craig passed after an accident in
a North Cascades while training for the AMGA Alpine Exam. He
lives on as an inspiration to us all.

He is
